closet nudist here

hello everyone im currently 15 years old and a closet nudist. i sleep nude all the time and come out of the shower nude and no one says anything. i also get in our hotube at night nude and our cover is broekn so one of my parents has to help get it off cause its in like 2 pieces and im nude then also so they see me and dont say anything. my brothers have also sen me and dont mention they just kinda look for a monet and go back to watever (they are both younger 13 and 10). any time i home with my family i try to just hang out in boxers (unless is cold or something) and they dont mind everyone once in awhile theres a joking "it must be nice to be in underwear all day" usally comming from my dad and i just say yea it is. i would rele love to tell my parents i think my mom would be supportive but i dunno about my dad. oh yea..ive also noticed my dad will go from bathroom to his bedroom nude and my mom will spend all morning befor work in just a robe. i kno for a fact my dad sleeps nude sometimes and ive noticed that my mom wears nothing under her pajamas and there kinda big on her and she dosnt seem to mind that you can kinda see. my brothers sometimes will walk outta the shower nude and get clothes then also. i relise this may seem like omg you should tell they do like verything you do (almost) but i still dont kno how to approach them. i currently spend any time at home nude when by myself. if anyone has idea on how i could approach them thatd be cool (ive though of like asking if they wanna get in the hotube also) and if anyone has any idea of how i can spend more time nude please tell.

First of all, welcome to the board! I think you'll find a lot of interesting people, and interesting discussions here.

As for your question,,, It doesn't sound as if you're a closet nudist right now. Your parents and brothers don't seem to have any problems with you being nude, and that's great. As far as approaching your parents, maybe you don't really have to. Since they're already used to seeing you nude, maybe you can just start going nude more around the house, and see how they react. Something simple, like going to the kitchen nude to get a snack, or things like that.

Let us know how it goes--and don't worry about the spelling or the grammar or anything like that.

Oh, and you might want to go into the Introductions thread on the General board, and tell us a little more about yourself, without giving away too many personal details, of course.

Lucky you, rlaurent32. If no one objects to your being nude around them at the hot tub and after the shower, that's a lot better than a lot of people have it. I'm afraid if any of my family members saw me nude it would freak them out.

You can probably get away with just being nude around them more. If anybody says anything you can just explain that you are more comfortable that way, and it shouldn't matter because they've all seen you naked anyway. Your brothers would probably be very happy because then they could be naked more.

I would say that your family may already consider you a nudist, with how you already only wear boxers alot and spent time nude at other times. I think your family would probably be able to quickly adjust to you going nude around the house.

It's quite a big change going from boxers to naked, so it might take some time anyway for them to adjust. With time they'd most likely get used to it, but I somewhat doubt it'd be a quick adjustment.

Hm.. long shirt and no underwear equals naked? There's a new definition I've never heard of. It's amazing how the human minds can think so differently at times. ^_^

It shouldn't be to big of a surprise, no. But still, we're going from not showing your "private area" to actually showing it. Even if one has walked around in only underwear for a long time that last piece of clothing reveal things that normally isn't shown in public. Boxers look a little like shorts which, especially during summer, males wear with little or nothing else.
Last summer I only wore shorts or swimming trunks, yet when I gave a tiny hint to my mum about me going naked A LOT in my apartment then it wasn't the best look I've gotten. It's kinda the same scenario, but still quite different.

I can also see that we have a different view on the term "soon". For me that's a couple of days or maybe two weeks whilst it looks like it's "a couple of months" for you. :p In such timespace the family most likely would've gotten used to it. ^_^

It sounds to me like your family is actually quite nude friendly. Not nudist, but not overly hung up about nudity and clothing. Your dad and brother don't seem to care if they're seen nude, and your mom doesn't seem to care if your robe fully covers her. So while they might not be nudists, they seem to all accept nudity in "appropriate" settings. If so, they might really not have any issue with you being nude at times and in ways they wouldn't be. You might try just increasing the time your nude, such as going from the shower to your room, and then to getting a drink between the shower and your room. You may be pleasantly surprised by the reactions.

I think you're worrying over nothing. Seriously, you're about 80% of the way there to being nude more often, so that's about all I think you need do. Stay nude a bit longer and see if anyone asks 'why are you nude?' and reply something like, 'I just prefer it that way.' I also have a hunch your younger brothers will take their cue from you and go nude as well.

I agree, you're already 80% of the way there. If your family have seen you nude before and they dont mind it, then all you have to do is to gradually start increasing the amount of time you stay nude for. You got very little to worry about now, and hopefully can look forward to a good summer spent without clothes.
