As I've mentioned in other topics I am currently at university and I share a house with four other people, two girls and two guys, all students. My room is on the ground floor and faces onto the driveway, and is right on a reasonably big road. During the day I usually have the blinds up and work at my desk clothed just because people are continually coming in and out of the house. However, the other night I was getting ready for bed, had brushed my teeth and everything, closed my blinds, locked my door and changed into my birthday suit. I usually spend a few minutes before bed just checking Facebook and what have you, but this night I decided to watch something on BBC iPlayer.
Essentially I was just lying on my bed naked and was watching the program on my computer, also on my bed. I got a phone call from a good friend of mine, who also happens to be one of my housemate's girlfriend. She asked me to let her into the house because she had left her helmet here and was cycling back to her house and that her boyfriend was asleep. So I got up and let her in and just chatted for a few minutes. Turns out she was standing outside my window and saw that my light was on so concluded I must be awake. She said nothing about seeing anything but I suspect she might well have done!
About 40 minutes later or so (still watching the program) another housemate came back from a night out, must have been about 2:00am or some stupid hour like that. She knocked on the door and said; "Sam, I know you're awake and I know your naked!", I donned my dressing gown and answered. Turns out what had happened to my blind was that it had gotten caught on something on the way down so there were a few inches at the bottom of bare window. She pointed this out to me and assured me that she "couldn't see anything! It was covered by your laptop!" I just laughed it off but I'll definitely be checking the blinds before going to bed now!
All of my housemates know now, I have a feeling this may become a standing joke. Wish I could say I was embarresed but not really.
