My Neighbour Totoro is a studio Ghibli animation which apparently features a scene with a family bathing together (I've not seen it, so can't comment on specifics).

Can you tell us why you are looking for these sort of movies?

I'm not quite sure what looking at families nude either in baths or swimming pools have got to do with naturism. Perhaps you could explain?

One who is interested in naturism might like to see examples. It is encouraging to see respectful and validating treatments — not very different from the newspaper stories or TV shows we post about.

The Totoro bath scene is just taken normally. Mainly 'cos the girls are worried about their house possibly falling down or being haunted.

Ranul,
I'm not quite sure why you would be interested in specifically this type of video. :? But if you're interested in your family becoming active in family naturism there's plenty of naturist organizations you can contact. There's also several producers of legitimate naturist magazines and videos available through a simple Google search.

It's rather odd that you are looking for families bathing or swimming together specifically. If you want to find positive representations of naturism then I see no need to narrow your options.

I find it exceedingly strange that on a site devoted to naturism people would find it somehow questionable when a member who has seen a positive portrayal of nudity would like to see more of the same sort of thing (in preference to nude skydiving or hiking through the mountains or the WNBR or a "dip in the nip" on "Terry Wogan's Ireland"). Do people think there is something pornographic about family nudity that does not exist when the nude people are unrelated?

What seemed odd to me, and I think I see similar reactions by others, was that he specified families bathing together rather than asking if there were any good resources on family naturism.

Maybe this is just bad wording of the question. When he said he was "Looking for" movies of this sort I did not take that he was literally trying to make a physical collection of this sort. Rather I took it that he had seen one such example and was wondering how common this is. I don't see that this is that different from the other film threads except for everyone jumping on the original poster. Or are we not allowed to start threads on specific aspects of naturism or related societal norms any more? I will also point out this was posted in News and Media, not General, suggesting the interest was in portrayal in the media, not in finding information to learn more on naturism.

To answer the question, the BBC version of "The Secret Garden" has a scene of a Sowerby kids being bathed together in a tin bath in their kitchen.
