It has been a busy two weeks with just enough time to keep up with the postings. In order to keep things in order I may just comment here rather than post individually. So here goes, Ben it is good to see you back; when I was a lurker I read your posts with interest. Stick around and remember as a good friend once told me "drummers is musicians too!'. It looks like KC and her family are ready to have a great summer, Gappy I'd love to be able to offer you a ride in my 4x4 over the potholes on the way to the beach, and Nudezilla I'm glad the meds appear to be working. Yes, I'd like to know who came up with the long shorts or short legged pants for men, where is the oil going to end up and how much damage. Mark Twains autobiography will be great reading, and of course, I'm naked right now.

In my world, I discovered a Wildlife Management area that the state has reclaimed from an old surface mine. The great thing is part of it is my old childhood take off my clothes and run around naked place. So I drove there last Sunday with a hydration pack, a lunch and hopes of doing some naked hiking as I had scouted out the place a few weeks ago and confirmed my findings with Google earth. When I arrived the parking lot was empty, and so were the other two I passed before so I put my shorts and shirt in the pack and began my journey. It had rained the night before and the grass was overgrown on the path so the cooling effect on my bare legs almost gave me a chill. The sun was bright and as it became warmer the grass dried so I took a small break to apply sunscreen. I drank almost a liter of water by the time I took a break and ate lunch, spread out a thermal blanket to sit on and listened to nature. There were a few deer, some turkey that I saw in the distance but the most numerous birds were cardinals. I did lay on the blanket for a while to catch some rays until I thought maybe I was getting too much sun so packing up and moving on headed back to the parking lot, being careful as I approached once again the lot was vacant so I strolled to the truck. I have to admit that the urge to drive home naked did strike but I thought better, dressed but did head straight to the local ice cream stand. I felt it was a just reward for a three hour hike!

There is another area nearby to explore this weekend so I will post if it is a winner. And hello Heather, wherever you are.

Well Gappy, you know what they say about the grass being greener? I've often wondered about the western US, like Montana, Wyoming and other less populated areas. There is a place in Arizona known as the Magic Circle which is a campground on government land and people have been nude 24/7/365 weather permitting. I'm planning a hike on state hunting lands in the morning, so I'll work on the all over tan as high temperatures are supposed to be in the 90s!

Had to postpone yesterdays naked hike due to an abundance of mountain bikers at the trail head, or so I assumed at the number of vehicles with bike racks. So arose early this morning and went to the trail head before dawn, stopped on the way for a breakfast sandwich and coffee, and waited for the light of day. When it got bright enough I headed into the woods, now if you can imagine a scene from Harry Potter where the woods are lit but the fog hangs so the trees are barely visible. The first hour or so was like that, surreal in a way I could hear the birds chirping, just couldn't see them. I also heard the deer crashing through the underbrush when I spooked them. So from about six in the morning till eight i enjoyed a pleasant, if not different type of hike. When I began to head back the fog had burned off and the sun quickly began to heat the day, unfortunately, it also awoke the insects! The flies were buzzing around but thankfully did not bite but there were clouds of little gnats that insisted on flying into my eyes. It kind of made it difficult to walk wearing sunglasses in the dark woods. Soon however I was alarmed by voices so I quickly dressed before arriving at the trail head. There I met some bikers who were waiting for more riders to join them. When I mentioned the gnats they replied that they often eat them, but hate it when they stick to their teeth. They also warned me about the horseback riders that frequent the area and also the deer ticks that seem to leap out of the tall grasses in the clear areas. Overall not quite as good as last week, but still excellent outdoor nude time.

Another quiet (boring) weekend. We did manage to get the RV out of mothballs and enjoyed a get away. I can assure you that what appears to be an all over tan is simply rust. We did manage some time between the raindrops to be outdoors and we were away from home and work so that was therapy in itself. Thankfully we missed the devastating weather our neighbors to the west in Ohio had to experience. So back to work today but now I am home and naked, perfect way to end the day.

The USA Today described the Chicago Blackhawks effort to win the Stanley Cup as a "blue collar" effort. As much union bashing that goes on I'm suprised that term would be used; maybe a "blue collar' economy may be better for recovery? Anyway, as long as it has been I'm happy for their fans and I like to see it (the cup) spread around.

So here I am sitting here naked wondering if the rain will hold off long enough to hang winter quilts outside to dry. I hate to use our dryer for them as it takes so long and uses too much power. If anything I'd go to a laundromat and use their big one, wonder if there are nudist laundries in the yellow pages? Now that I've seen the Weather Channel radar I have a window of opportunity so I'm going for it. Big advantage is that I will be naked in the back yard!

They do have wash and tan laundromats around so why not sauna and hot tub? Nudezilla you may have one of the best ideas; not only drop your pants but soak with your clothes! Sweat while they spin! Tan your buns and make laundry fun!

Yesterday was an excellent day to hang stuff outside as the rain did not appear, today is more like a car wash day as I can move into the garage if the rain threatens. Too bad I can't be nude in the driveway.

Another weekend approaches and with it a long to do list with social engagements galore. If you add in family birthdays and Fathers day it seems nude time will be at a minimum. This weekend also promises to be one of the warmest yet, not like Texas but it is relative. When you are not used to heat and humidity it takes some getting acclimated to it. Monday is the summer solstice and the tradition is to hike naked on the Appalachian Trail but since I live so far away I've taken to doing my own hike to celebrate the day. I've got the hike planned out, trying for one of epic proportions along with a skinny dip along the way!

Fathers Day breakfast in bed, served to a naked guy by a nude wife. Life doesn't get any better. Too bad we must get dressed for family later in the day.

Work and sleep, I need a vacation. Looks like we are in for a heat wave with the high temperatures in the 90s! On the drive home I remembered as a youngster how the day would be an excuse to head to a local pond for a refreshing dip, naked of course!

I didn't get all the details but did hear that some FCC rules were struck down. I would assume from the comment I heard that one was the anti-nudity portion of the code. One could only assume that because the FCC chairman mentioned family values. I hate it when a goverment agency determines that they are the sole judge of my moral values!

Still sweating out this heat wave. The AC has been working overtime, so I've been naked as much as I can to try and conserve some. I wonder how people along the gulf stand it, or does one adapt over time like us northerners seem to do with the cold. I did get some naked hikes and some skinny dipping although at this age it is more like chunky dunking) in the local wildlife management area. With this heat no one ventures far from the comfort of AC, even the animals are laying low but I dd see a red fox yesterday. If it wasn't for the pond half way on my hike for a cool down I wouldn't be venturing outside either.

I had a pleasant Friday to myself so without work or chores to attend to so off I went exploring. I returned to the area that was overrun with mountain bikers on a Sunday only to find it deserted. So I got to spend two and a half hours naked, exploring an underdeveloped park, which is actually a reclaimed open pit mine. Much like my childhood I did find some ponds but resisted the urge to dip in, not knowing the place well enough. The most remarkable thing were the butterflies. Thousands of them, with groups of small yellow ones flying in circles around each other much like I've seen gnats in the woods. Overall perfect day followed by an excellent dinner with the wife. Does it get any better?
